Sign up for Userlike
The first thing you need to do is create a new Userlike account . No need to add any billing information. When you sign up for Userlike, you get a 14-day free trial which allows you to experience the features from our premium plan. Implement the chat on Jimdo
- Log in to your Userlike account. In the Dashboard, go to "Channels - Website widgets" and select your Widget.
- Open another browser tab and log in to your Jimdo account
- Click on "Show all websites" in the top right corner.
- Select "Edit" above the website where you want to add a chat function. Under "Settings", choose "Edit head".
- This is where you can paste the Userlike widget code that you copied in step 2. You can either embed the code for your entire website or only for specific pages.
- Save your changes and reload your Jimdo site...
... and you're done! The Userlike live chat is now visible on your website. You can start chatting with your customers by going online in the Message Center .
