How to Add Live Chat to Jimdo – Userlike & Jimdo

Jimdo is a website builder that allows you to easily design a web presence and sell online. Add live chat to your website and be there for your customers when they need help.

Get started within minutes with the free Userlike live chat integration for Jimdo. Here's how.

  1. Log in to your Jimdo account and click on "Show all websites" in the top right corner. You're navigated to an overview of all the websites you've created in Jimdo.
  2. Select "Edit" above the website where you want to add chat. Under "Settings", choose "Edit head".
  3. This is where you can implement your Userlike widget code. You find your code in your Userlike account. If you don't have one yet, you can create a free account here .

  5. In the Dashboard, go to Config > Widgets and select your Widget. Head to the “Install > Javascript Code” tab. Copy your Widget code and go back to Jimdo.
  6. Now paste your Widget code into the input field. You can either embed the code for your entire website or only for specific pages.

Save your changes and reload your Jimdo site...

... and you're done! The Userlike live chat is now visible on your website. You can start chatting with your customers by going online in the Message Center.
