In 2016, It’s All About Customer Experience [Infographic]

“People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.” - Maya Angelou

In 2016, 89% of companies will compete on the basis of customer experience (CX). That’s one of the main conclusions drawn from a recent technology research by Gartner.

Global competition is a fact, and it’s making it harder and harder for businesses to capture a long-term differentiated position. How do you convince people to choose for you – to stick with you – when a newer, better, or cheaper solution is always lurking around the corner? CX may hold the answer.

Amy Rees Anderson is right: people do business with people they like. With less and less to distinguish between companies, goodwill will become more and more crucial. That’s what CX is about – it’s the art of making customers like you.

One of the quickest fixes in CX is to add live chat to your website. Based on the Gartner study, Software Advice (review us on their site here) put together an elegant infographic about CX and live chat. Check it out.

So as we’re approaching 2016, make sure to add CX to your list of New Year’s resolutions. How about starting with, let's say, live chat? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
