Google Analytics Tutorial
Go to the Widget overview in your Dashboard and click on a Chat Widget to enter its settings. Open the "Chat" > "Behavior" tab and activate the tracking integration with Google Analytics in the "Tracking" section. The Widget will now track Userlike chat events and its data will be accessible in your Google Analytics account.
If you have selected Google Analytics as a tracking tool for multiple of your Chat Widgets, their combined data will make up the data in your Google Analytics.
After one day the new data from your Chat Widget will be accessible in your Google Analytics. First access your Google Analytics, head to the "Behavior" reporting and click on "Events". The data from your Chat Widget is grouped under the Userlike_Chat category.
Click on this category and you will see an overview of the different event actions that are tracked by your Chat Widget:
|Messages sent by a users|
|Messages send by your operators|
|Proactive invites offered|
|Number of chat conversation started by an proactive invite|
|Number of chat conversation started by the Webvisitor|
|Referring how often the contact form was used|
Click on one of these event actions, for example "Chat_session_started" to see how they are connected to your operators. Your operators are an event label and help you to compare performance among your team members for any event action.
The event action "Offline_message_sent" has no operator label because it is operator independend.
When clicking on individual operators inside event actions, we can see a graph that indicates how the operator has performed over time.
